About HView

What is HView?

HView is a home screen (launcher) for Android TV and Google TV. It replaces the screen you see when you press Home with one that is light on memory, free of ads and easy to arrange.

Will HView make my TV faster?

If the slow part is your TV’s home screen, yes: HView is built to stay smooth on boxes with 1 GB of memory. It can’t speed up other apps, add memory or repair failing hardware. Our guides explain what to expect for freezing, slowness and lagging apps.

Which TVs work with HView?

Android TV and Google TV devices that have the Google Play Store and run Android 7.0 or newer: TVs, boxes and sticks. Samsung (Tizen), LG (webOS), Roku and Apple TV are not supported, and Fire TV has not been tested.

Does HView clean my TV or free up storage?

Not by itself. HView doesn’t delete files or clear caches. It shortens the job: from the home screen you can open any app’s info or uninstall it, and hide apps you never use.

Does HView have ads?

No. There are no ads and no sponsored rows. The only content rows are the “Watch next” and recommendation channels your own apps publish, and that module is optional.

Do I need an account?

No. HView never asks for your name, e-mail or a sign-in. It registers the television by itself when you first open it.

Which languages does it support?

English and Turkish. HView follows the system language, or you can pick one in Settings.

What if HView crashes on start?

After two failed starts in a row it starts in safe mode: optional modules off and the Minimal theme. It tells you what it switched off, and you can turn things back on in Settings.

Trial and subscription

Is there a free trial?

Yes. The first 7 days are free with every feature on. The trial starts the first time you open HView and asks for no card and no account.

What happens when the trial or a subscription ends?

The home screen drops to a plain mode: a black background, a clock and an app row. Nothing is locked or erased, and when you subscribe the full home screen comes back as you left it.

How much does it cost?

There are monthly, 3-month, 6-month and yearly plans. Current prices are on the pricing page; the app shows the final price from Google Play for your country.

Can I use one subscription on several TVs?

No. A subscription belongs to one television. For another television, subscribe on that television.

How do I cancel?

In Google Play › Account › Payments & subscriptions. What you have paid for lasts until the end of the period.

Can I get a refund?

Payments are handled by Google Play, so refunds follow Google Play’s process. If something went wrong, write to us and we will help. The refund policy explains the details.

Privacy

What data does HView collect?

A one-way digest of your device ID and the device model for the licence, purchase details from Google Play, and a small daily report (app version, theme, modules, crash count). Never your name, e-mail, location, app list or viewing history. The privacy policy has the full list.

Do you sell my data?

No. We don’t sell it and we don’t use it for advertising.

Why does HView need the internet?

To start the trial and check the subscription, to show the weather if you turn it on, and to load card images for content rows.

Troubleshooting

Where is my support code?

In HView under Settings › Account. It is six characters long and lets us find your television when you write to us.

The Home button doesn’t open HView.

On Google TV, turn on Settings › Modules › Home button and allow it on the accessibility screen. On other Android TVs, press Home and choose HView when the TV asks. The help center has the full steps.

I paid, but HView still says my time has run out.

Make sure the TV is online and reopen HView; it checks the subscription when it connects. If it still looks wrong, write to us with your support code.
